Krohmer Plumbing is a plumbing and mechanical contractor that provides services throughout South Dakota, Minnesota, Iowa, and Nebraska. We’ve also completed projects in North Dakota and Wyoming. Our work includes projects in the commercial, residential, and service areas. The Revit MEP Design Detailer participates in 3D modeling of plumbing and mechanical systems. The models will be used for BIM/VDC coordination and in-house prefabrication.

Essential Job Functions:

• Represent Krohmer Plumbing in a professional manner
• Communicate with general contractors, other trades, and engineers
• Produce 3D plumbing and mechanical drawings to code
• Participate in coordination meetings to resolve clashes
• Produce shop drawings, spool pieces, sheets, and models as required
• Prepare layout drawings as needed for field installation
• Other duties assigned

Required Skills:

• Solid working knowledge of Revit
• Basic knowledge of Navisworks and AutoCAD
• Competent, responsible, organized, and team-oriented
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Ability to follow instructions
• Mechanically inclined
• Ability to work independently and with others to meet performance goals
